Privacy policy

ScrumKata takes the protection of your personal data seriously, in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The data controller is the publisher of this website (see the legal notice).

Data we collect

• Account: email address, name, optional profile photo, chosen language.
• Activity: exams taken, answers, scores, statistics, favourites, goals and progress.
• Billing: payments are processed by Stripe. We never store any card details.

Why we use it

Your data is used to provide the service (progress tracking, statistics, Premium access), to send you emails related to your account (welcome, receipts, reminders) and to improve the platform. It is never sold or passed on to third parties for commercial purposes.

Processors

• Supabase: database hosting and authentication.
• Netlify: website hosting.
• Stripe: payment processing.
• Resend: transactional emails.

How long we keep it

Your data is kept for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, it is erased, subject to legal retention obligations (in particular accounting records for payments).

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, port and delete your data. At any time you can export your data or delete your account from your settings. For any question about your data, write to contact@scrumkata.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL (cnil.fr), or with the authority of your country.

Cookies

ScrumKata only uses cookies that are strictly necessary for the service to work: your sign-in session and your chosen language. Audience measurement, if enabled, relies on a privacy-friendly tool with no advertising tracking cookies.
